Steam Ovens Offer Healthy Cooking at Home
The combi-steam ovens create the ideal conditions for steam cooking by using a unique combination of humidity and hot air. The new steam oven models feature technical, design and performance innovations including a fixed water connection model, a fully automatic cleaning system, and a full surface grill hidden behind ceramic glass for the oven’s 200 series. There is a multicore temperature probe for both the 400 and 200 series that offers precise and accurate temperature readings. You can steam, braise, bake, cook, and grill with this powerful unit.
Steam Ovens Available With Fixed Water Connection
They have added ovens with a fixed water connection. Gaggenau has an automatic cleaning system for tank models in the 400 series as well as for the oven’s 200 series with a fixed water connection. By simply using a cleaning cartridge, the ovens’ water supply effortlessly descales and removes any heavy soiling from the cavity interior. This cleaning system allows you to hygienically clean the entire oven leaving it pristine in less than four hours.
Fresh Water is Constantly Available in the Fixed Water Connections
The introduction of fixed water connections in both series ensures that fresh water is constantly available. This is an excellent feature if you are cooking for long stretch of time, especially when using the ovens’ sous-vide capability. The water tanks are easy to access and are equipped with intelligent sensors that alert the cook to the needs of the tanks, whether this is fresh water running low or the waste water tank requiring to be emptied. The units also work perfectly alongside Gaggenau’s vacuuming drawer. The vacuum drawer creates the perfect condition for gently preparing food with outstanding sous-vide results.How Steam Ovens Work
With combi-steam ovens, recipes are cooked to perfection through the addition of a multicore temperature probe on both the 400 and 200 series. The temperature probe offers accurate temperature reading and has three temperature sensors that continually revise the estimate cooking time based on the sensors’ readings. This gives you high-quality cooking results every time.
New Larger Oven Cavity
The oven cavity of the new combi-steam ovens has been increased to 50 liters, filling the full width of the appliance and enabling more space for you to create culinary masterpieces. The increase in size allows you an almost limitless choice when it comes to the dishes and ingredients that can be accommodated inside the oven

Gaggenau’s combination steam oven is an aesthetically beautiful product. You will see it includes a full surface grill hidden behind ceramic glass, which ensures the cavity of the oven remains sleek and minimalist.
