Ingredients List
1 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups flour
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 bag chocolate baking chips or 1 good-quality chocolate bar
Directions
1 Combine butter and both sugars in a large mixing bowl and beat until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and add in vanilla extract.
2 In a separate bowl, mix (or sift) together the flour, salt and baking soda. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet mixture. Break the good quality chocolate bar into chunks and stir into the dough (or use chocolate chips). I like the HU Almond butter and puffed quinoa bar from Whole Foods)
3 Form round balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 9-11 minutes.
